What you get
The product is the license which grants access to the service which provides the latest offset file for rkbx_link and the ability to automatically receive updates.
The software is rkbx_link, which is a separate freely available program.
The license is non-expiring, though function of the underlying service is not guaranteed. If the update server is unavailable, you will still be able to use the software with the last downloaded offset file. You may contact us with your license key to be manually sent the latest file. If the server becomes permanently unavailable the latest offset file will be made publicly available.
The license does not include any support, but you can ask questions about the software on the GitHub repository.
By purchasing a license you agree to be be bound by the terms and policies within this document.
Terms of use and purchase
The license is a single-user license. This means you may use your license key on multiple computers provided you are the sole user of the license within the software.
The user is a single person. In case of use within an organisation or company, each user of the software must purchase their own license.
We reserve the right to revoke the license if we notice suspicious activity. This includes but is not limited to:
- Sharing the license key
- Redistributing acquired files (reselling or making publicly or privately available for free)
- Replicating the service or distributing offset files generated, reverse engineered or acquired through other means If reasonable, we will however try to contact you before revocation.
Limits of liability
We are not liable for any damages caused by the use of the software or the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or any other financial loss. The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee future updates, but will try to provide them for as long as feasible. In particular major changes to Rekordbox, resulting in the software needing to be rewritten may result in discontinuation of updates. Older versions will remain functional.
We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. You may, but are not guaranteed to be notified by email using the address used to purchase the license. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the service after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.
Refund policy
If you have not utilised the license to make a request, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
If you are experiencing technical issues and have never achieved advertised functionality, contact us within 14 days of purchase. If the problem cause is a non-user error within the service, we will issue a refund. Note that issues with the software are a separate matter and not grounds for a refund.
Refunds, if approved, may take up to 14 days to process.
Privacy policy
When utilising the automatic update feature the following information may be logged:
- Your IP address
- Software version
- Offset version
- License used to make the request
- Time of request
- Requested operation (check, update)
The information is stored for the purpose of fraud prevention and diagnostics. The data is never shared with third parties, except in the case of a legal request from law enforcement.
